As regular sufferers of this blog will know, I've long been in love with the
dinosaur sculptures at Crystal Place, built in the 1850s. Today, the clever Dr had booked us in to a rare trip onto the island so we could get up close to the lovely, cumbersome beauties.

I remember reading about these first in a Topsy and Tim and was amazed to discover later that they actually existed. Pleased to see that they're still there, albeit in this state.
